29/12/20 update

We have received confirmation from the Director at Luminous Energy that in conjunction with the landowner Mr Berney a revised plan has been proposed regarding the location and layout of the Bracon Ash solar farm.

They have advised us that they have successfully been able to accommodate the village residents desire for the scheme to be located north of the footpath however, further discussions are planned in conjunction with Mr Berney regarding what the new proposal looks like and any potential community benefit opportunities including protection of the land south of the footpath. 

We have been advised that a public consultation has been arranged for 11 January 2021 where the proposal will be discussed in more detail with us all. They have informed us that information on the consultation meeting and 1500 questionnaires have been sent to local residents to complete prior to the event, so we can expect to see something imminently.
