4/11/21 - From the Parish Council newsletter

The proposed solar farm bordering Cranes Road and East Carleton Road has been put forward for another screening opinion.  This coincides with another proposed solar farm near Marsh Lane.  When EDF put forward their proposal this will mean that, with the already existing one, there would be a total of four such sites.  We (Parish Council) have raised concerns with South Norfolk Council that there should be a proper assessment of all these units, as with the significant developments at Swardeston and the Innovation Park near Goffs, there are significant industrial developments taking place and South Norfolk Council should have a proper plan to investigate the urbanisation of our rural area.
